For every child, hope Scope: Under the general guidance of the Deputy Representative, the incumbent is responsible for providing technical support to the Government of Guinea-Bissau for the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of some of the ongoing interventions under social protection, public finance , child poverty, Planning Monitoring and Evaluation components of the social policy planning Monitoring and Evaluation programme . How can you make a difference? The key duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to the following: 1. Supporting the implementation of the GPE COVID-19 emergency cash transfer programme Manage and coordinate technical support to ensure that the ongoing GPE COVID-19 emergency cash transfer intervention is implemented and monitored in a timely fashion, following the design of the intervention. Monitor cash disbursement and liquidation related to emergency interventions. Guide the UNICEF Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist as well as the cash transfer consultant in realizing M&E activities planned under the cash transfer programme Organize the programme lessons learnt workshop Draft all the reports and implement the visibility plan for the cash transfer programme 2. Supporting national capacities on social protection Facilitate the cash transfer Steering committee meetings and use this platform for capacity building of national counterparts Coordinate the cash working group activities with UN Agencies and other donors.
